Last Friday, I was able to watch a very inspiring episode from Maalaala mo kaya. The episode features Eloisa, a woman who sacrificed her own health to save her parents and eventually sacrificed her life to let her son live. I was able to meet her in person when I offered help just the other day. She has more heartbreaking stories and she never fails to show how strong she is. Just this morning, a friend forwarded me an e-mail about a love of a father to a son.

Seems easy if you follow these intstructions from iClarified. The problem is, it doesn’t unlock the iphone. it just jailbreaks it so you won’t get a signal if you’re not on AT&T.
The next problem would come in because of iTunes 8. You would get the following error while restoring from a custom firmware:
The iPhone “iPhone” could not be restored. An unknown error occured (1600).
The iPhone “iPhone” could not be restored. An unknown error occured (2001).
I was able to fix this by doing the following steps:
restore using default firmware of iTunes
jailbreak using quickpwn
use pwnagetool to create the custom firmware
restore firmware using itunes again, this time using the alt-click button to use the custom firmware
start using your unlocked iphone 2g on 2.1 firmware, yey!
Last Monday, we bought this cute 3-month old shih tzu for my gf’s birthday. We called her Mica. Since then, we’ve been so obsessed with buying accessories like dog bed, shirt, shoes, dog treats, etc. We’ve also been bringing her everywhere we go.
Yesterday, we bought a dog-carrier and attempted to bring her to Shangri-la Plaza mall. Unfortunately, Shangri-la mall is not pet-friendly.

In 2004, we re-branded our company to look young and dynamic and used the tag line Experience Digital Marketing. During that time, I wanted to promote the company as a developer of digital consumer experience for companies. This “experience” concept was based from the book The Experience Economy. In those days, the digital experience revolves around great web design and flash animation on the web or interactive CDs that provide video and animated product demonstrations.
These past 2 days, I was at IMMAP’s 2nd Internet and Mobile Marketing Summit. I was happy to see some old acquaintances back in iAyala/Philwap days. One of them is Nix Nolledo, the owner of Xurpas, PinoyExchange, and many other companies related to internet and mobile marketing. During his presentation, he gave an inspiring background about his company and how they expanded worldwide. He presented interesting mobile campaigns in the African region as well as an interesting application called SMS 2.0 from India.
Applications and campaigns presented in the summit just show that we shouldn’t stop innovating. Innovation is the heart of every business. Stop innovating and your business will surely fall.

Before the ridiculous gas prices, I go to Sonya’s Garden every other Sunday. Last Sunday, Jade and I decided to celebrate our 6th monthsarry there. I love love love their salad dressing!
Alternatively, since gas prices are still high, you may try out the Caesar’s salad from Chateau Verde in UP Diliman.
This happens once in a lifetime. Somecompanies use the date as a point of promotion. I wonder how other people celebrate their 08/08/08 day. For us, we’ll just treat tonight as any other Friday night. Pizza night tonight at none other than Bellini’s! Yey!
